The team at Absolute Dentistry is thrilled to welcome Dr. Sumana Anand.
Dr. Sumana graduated from Dental School in 2005 and has been practising dentistry ever since. She immigrated to Canada in 2015, and although the transition was not an easy one, with the immense support of her husband and his belief, she successfully completed the National Dental Exam Board and started practicing soon after. With a deep appreciation and awareness of finer aspects of Dentistry, Dr. Sumana finds it extremely rewarding to have a positive impact on her patients, educating and empowering them in the decision making throughout their treatment, right from planning to execution. She is always eager to stay up to date with the ever-changing trends in dentistry, via journals, attending seminars and conferences, or even a simple chat with her peers, in understanding various evolving dental products and technology. She strongly believes that patients are like family, and they deserve nothing but the best!
Apart from being a loving dentist, she is a mother of 2 beautiful kids and is usually seen spending time with them and her husband, going for long walks as a family with her sweet dog Cocoa, cooking delicious food (apparently her greatest stressbuster!), going on long drives, biking, Yoga to name a few!
